Soeun Bae is a Korean-born artist from Alabama who is now based in Brooklyn. She studied sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design. She uses sculpture, technology and performance to question what it is to be living inside of a body. She works with pleasurable objects that present a reductive and depersonalized way of relating to one’s own skin.
