Last Footsteps in Nascent Landscapes

2022, naturally dyed pink glycerin, biomaterial membrane, aerator, acrylic tube, wood, foam, concrete patch, acrylic paint, 9 x 9 x 30.
Air bubbles float through the thorax of the stone sculpture and gets trapped under the membrane, until enough bubbles are collected and are released with a burp. The biomaterial membrane sitting on the top is casted from the bellybutton of the sculpture, and dissolves over time and circulates within the liquid system.
